In 2011, California passed the FAIR Education Act, which mandates the inclusion of disability history in K-12 curriculum. We offer Patient No More as a resource for teachers seeking fulfill the FAIR Act with a richer experience than just another lesson about Helen Keller or FDR. Someone from the Longmore Institute would be more than happy to schedule a visit to your class or group. Contact: Emily Beitiks by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (415) 405-3528. Also, explore our curriculum guide.
After a 7 month run at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley and 3 months at the San Francisco Public Main Library, the main exhibit has returned to storage. To see the traveling version of Patient No More, visit Exhibit Envoy!
