Dancing While Deaf: From a Deaf Perspective - Achieving What Others Perceive as Impossible through the Arts!

We'd like to invite you to this year's Longmore Lecture in Disability Studies which will feature the expansively talented Antoine Hunter, an award winning African American Deaf producer, choreographer, film/theater actor, dancer, dance instructor, model, poet, speaker, mentor, and deaf advocate. The lecture is titled "Dancing While Deaf: From a Deaf Perspective - Achieving What Others Perceive as Impossible through the Arts!". The lecture is free and all are welcome to attend.
The presentation will be from 5 to 6pm, followed by a reception 6 to 7pm. The entire event will be held in the San Francisco State Library, room 121.
