We are seeking one lead student assistant and two interns for an extraordinary project aimed at increasing diversity in the tech industry for people with disabilities!
Are you a passionate, social justice-minded undergraduate or graduate student at SFSU looking for a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in diversifying Silicon Valley? The Students for Access project is looking to hire two interns and one lead student assistant to advocate for getting disability on the radar of Silicon Valley companies and tech journalists. These incredible paid positions provide a unique professional development opportunity that will prepare you for meaningful employment post-graduation.
Positions (available June 1 – August 30, 2017):
- 2 students: Paid internship, 50 hours a semester (3-5 hrs/wk) $500 honorarium upon completion.
- One student position (graduate student preferred) who helps oversee the project, $15/hr for average of 10 hours a week for 15 weeks
