Student Assistant

As a new transfer student on campus, I found the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability as a place to gain knowledge and grow as a community member. After spending a few years attending various inclusive events in the East Bay, I found myself wondering who was behind the scenes – who was working to create all these amazing opportunities for people with varying disabilities to enjoy the community in a new way? As I walked passed the humanities building and saw the sign in the window “Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability,” I was compelled to inquire. I am very much looking forward to joining the community and doing what I can to spread awareness! As a Child and Adolescent Development major and a Behavior Interventionist I am inspired to help all people and especially children realize their limitless futures.
